- Oats – Rolled oats.
- Milk – Whole, skim or anything in between.
- Yogurt – Regular or greek yogurt, flavored or plain.
- Almond extract – For added almond flavor.
- Cranberries – Dried cranberries.
- Almonds – Slivered almonds.
How do you make overnight oats with cranberries and almonds? (step-by-step directions)
⭐ First, in a medium bowl, add the oats, milk, yogurt, almond extract, dried cranberries and slivered almonds and stir to combine.
⭐ Next, store in an airtight container, we like to use a mason jar!
⭐ Then, refrigerate the container overnight.
⭐ Finally, when ready to eat, top with more dried cranberries and slivered almonds.

What kind of oats for cranberry overnight oats?
We find that rolled oats work best in this recipe. Rolled oats, quick oats, and steel cut oats are not the same and will have different textures in the finished product.
Can you make cranberry overnight oats ahead of time?
Yes, in fact you’re supposed to with this recipe! You can make them as little as one night ahead or as many as five.
Do you need to add almond extract?
We find the almond extract adds a delicious almond flavor with the slivered almonds but if almond extract isn’t for you, you can swap it with vanilla extract or leave it out altogether.
What kind of yogurt to use for cranberry overnight oats?
The variety of yogurt is completely up to your preference. You can use plain yogurt or Greek yogurt if you want to add in some extra protein. You can also use flavored yogurt if desired!
Storage and leftovers
How long do cranberry overnight oats last?
These will keep in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For best results, store in individual air tight containers and stir before eating.
Can you freeze cranberry overnight oats?
We do not recommend freezing this recipe.

- 1 tablespoon dried cranberries plus more for topping
