We love this cheesy, but for more traditional biscuits and gravy flavor, you can skip it!

Preparation

Can you make biscuits and gravy casserole ahead of time?

Yes, this can be assembled the night before and stored in the fridge until ready to bake. Remove from the fridge 30 minutes before baking.

Why use whole milk?

The whole milk helps to create a thicker gravy. Anything lighter will result in a runny gravy that isn’t quite as creamy and delicious.

What kind of biscuits to use for biscuits and gravy casserole?

Good ole biscuits from the can are what this recipe calls for. If you have a stellar homemade biscuit recipe, you can use homemade biscuits instead. However, canned biscuits are time saving and work great.
